Demiurge

Demiurge: The Enigma of Creation delves into Gnostic mythology to tell the story of the Demiurge, craftsman of the material universe, and of Sophia, the embodiment of wisdom. From the Aeons to the Pleroma, the book follows the fall of Sophia, the creation of man, the Garden of Duality and a rereading of the Gospel of Judas, through to the inner journey of self-knowledge and the return to the Pleroma. In 19 chapters, it reflects on the origin of the cosmos, the tension between spirit and matter, and the meaning of creation, freedom and destiny.
